Daniel Chow is a high achieving sales professional, global sales leader and seasoned expatriate executive with many years of overseas experience in the areas of retail banking, wealth management and private banking.
Daniel has been a Retail and Private Banker for over 45 years and has demonstrated great success in the banking and financial services industry, specializing in Branch Banking Management, Wealth Management Business, Retail Banking, Sales Distribution, Treasury/FX, Retail Marketing and Sales Management.
Daniel has spent around 40 years in managing and growing branch networks in highly competitive markets, such as Hong Kong, Taiwan, Indonesia and Macao. He orchestrated and successfully transformed the priority banking sales business of Citibank Hong Kong into the Wealth Management architecture. The model was thereafter replicated and implemented in Asia Pacific and European countries where Citibank was located. After spending 3 years as Country Team Head of UBS Private Bank Hong Kong, he moved to Standard Chartered Bank in 2016 to manage all branches in Hong Kong and Pearl River Delta. He was primarily responsible for managing over 2,500 sales staff and has distinguished himself with numerous global awards for outstanding achievement in business and revenue growth, particularly in the areas of Wealth Management and Insurance. He was a consistent Chairman’s Council Awardee which represented the top 2-3% of the high sales achievers in Citibank.
Daniel is also a Senior Executive Coach and Mentor. He was an Accredited Master Trainer and became the Dean of CitiGold Wealth Management Institute for Asia Pacific in 2003. Citibank sponsored him to Harvard Business School for his management development training in 2000.
