Tell us about your background, and how you came to found your company?

10 years ago, I joined Quantifeed, a Fintech B2B company, as the first engineer. Back in the day, the software in Financial services was quite legacy. Then, the investment accelerated, and better software was available to the industry and this is how Quantifeed flourished.

 

Then the low hanging fruit was on Fintech B2C. I joined 8 Securities as their Head of Engineering and with our team, created the first robo-advisor in Asia. I left when the company was sold to Sofi.

 

I then joined Investment Banking for a while before joining the next low hanging fruit, InsurTech. After convincing the current CEO of CoverGo that B2B in insurance was going to be all the craze, I joined as the CTO and 3rd employee of CoverGo. CoverGo is now a flourishing insurance technology company.

 

This is when I started to think about the next low hanging fruit. And the next one is B2B healthtech & digital health. Therefore, Mazecare was created.

What is most important to you and your organization – mission, vision, or core values? Why?

Our core value is to deliver the greatest amount of value to our customers and deliver what they really need to sustain their businesses.

 

Technological excellence is definitely one of our main drive. Without that, we wouldn't be able to offer the best value for money to our customers.

Can you explain briefly how your service(s)/product(s) works?

Mazecare is a Healthcare IT Products and Services Company and builds a robust, feature rich suite of products to deliver significant value to the stakeholders of the healthcare industry.

How has the industry been changing in recent years?

That is the main problem. The industry didn't really change.

 

Many healthcare providers are operating with technology that is up to 20 years old, and they struggle to find decent software development houses & solutions for them to optimize their services.

 

As a result, both the public and private sector struggle with providing streamlined & efficient services to their patients & stakeholders, at a reasonable cost.

 

What makes you different from what’s currently available in the market?

​

There are currently no tech providers to the healthcare industry that can digitize the full healthcare journey from appointments to claim adjudication. Mazecare can automate all of it.

 

What does the future hold for your company?

Hopefully aquiring more insurers and healthcare providers as clients or partners.

 

We hope to leave a mark as one of the best healthtech | digital health | health insurtech company in South East Asia.
