Tell us about your background, and how you came to found your company?
-Elton Kuah Consulting which provides digital marketing and B2B Market Research services.
The company has been founded since 2009, an; it comes about after I have been working in an engineering-related job, and I have found a passion for discovering unique customer perspectives and insight to ensure satisfaction. After I have attended an internet marketing course in Singapore, which I have traveled every month on the weekend for almost a year, I set up an agency to serve mid sizes SME companies (underserved market at the time during the year 2009).
As the reason for doing is this is hat digital marketing is new territory for most SME for understanding how to implement it effectively for their business.
What is most important to you and your organization – mission, vision, or core values? Why?
My business mission: Make Your Business Fly My business vision: We make your business fly with better market intelligence and digital marketing solution and services. My organization revolves around the personal extension of myself as I like to be constantly learning and outdo myself to have a sense of achievement in life. My values are efficient to work ethics, continuous learning improvement, and resourcefulness to adapt to various situations. I have adapted these values and missions over time to suit the company to satisfy the dynamic environment and team members that I have inherited.

How has the industry been changing in recent years?
The industry landscape is changing towards omnichannel marketing instead of a separate distinction between digital marketing and traditional marketing.
Also, the perspective of adoption artificial intelligence into the form of marketing techniques such as personalization, design and user behaviors as an example. This is evidently important for industries such as finance, travel, and e-commerce as companies can adapt better business profit/ customer experience by creating suitable products/services to their segmentation of relevant niche customers.
What makes you different from what’s currently available in the market?
The differentiation of why people select my business compared to others highlighted in a few key points as below:
1) Industry domain expertise and network: Our founder's experience in handling projects from MYR 10- 40 million in logistic background. As the business founder in several organizations in terms of SME advocacy in the South East Asia region (ie AMTC, AMEN, Asia CEO) and one of few SME that mix around digital industry insight and constant update of marketing technology adoption, we can retrofit or co-create effective marketing method to suit a particular SME industry.
2) Digital Marketing Excellence Commitment Our training module is customized based on trainer exposure in digital marketing and involvement in the digital marketing community, such as Google Program and Linkedin Marketing lab.
Our business commitment to ensure our training best possible experience and platform to execute the marketing (rather than classes/workshop model which is practiced by many training companies)
The founder's experience in tech involvement is evident in significant-tech conferences such as RISE and writing business columns such as E27 Singapore and Jumpstart Hong Kong. Also, his working exposure with one of the top accelerators in the USA would be an asset for startups who wants to create the value of their product or service-based ideas.

What does the future hold for your company?
For the future, I am focusing on a few important key metrics in personal and business.
-To create various experiences, ie something that goes beyond typical business profit as my side features revised use cases to educate the industry via tech columns and community events. This is adopted in a current process called MEWES Framework to ensure business leadership alignment and sustainable in the fast-evolving industry landscape of my business nature.
-To ensure the company is run with more independence, for me to spend more time to balance my well-being and family members.
