Vision Sensing Acquisition Corporation
VSAC is a Special Purpose Acquisition Company which listed on Nasdaw on 1 November 2021. The company plans to target businesses with operations in vision sensing technologies (VST), including hardware chip solutions, VST-related application software, AI, and other peripheral technologies that assist to integrate and/or supplement VST applications. Potential VST applications include machine vision, automotive sensing, spectral analysis, and smart cities.

Tell us about your background, and what are you most passionate about?
I come from a capital markets background and have undertaken senior regulatory, COO and business development roles for some of the worlds leading financial institutions.
I am a keen investor in ESG, socially impactful and blockchain technology.
Aside from my family, I am most passionate about collaborating with and supporting institutions and people who aim to improve the world we live in for humankind.
Describe a time you had to make a tough decision (e.g. budget cuts, organizational restructuring, market withdrawal, etc.). What did you do and what was the result?
This is a great question. I have had to make many tough decisions during my career. The hardest decisions are always the business decisions which personally impact individuals because it is perceived to be for the greater good of the orgnisation going forward such as removing or downsizing business divisions and/or teams.
How would others define your communication style? Do you prefer to be close to your employees or maintain a healthy distance, and why?
I like to be close to my employees. Clear and open ommunication is key to trust and transparency and provides employees with a sense of value in themselves and confidence in the management team.
How has the industry been changing in recent years? What do you think are the biggest challenges your industry will face in the next 5 years?
I am relatively new to the Vision Sensing technology industry. It has grown tremendously in the past few years alone and is a very exciting space to be in. There is so much great technology efficiencies it brings to so many industries. I think this trend will continue to grow enormously over the next 5 years and beyond.
What personality traits make a good leader?
Effective communication. Trust. Integrity. Self-motivation. Accountability and responsibility. Ability to make tough decisions. Thoughtfulness. Compassion and kindness.
What does the future hold for your company?
Great things. We intend to acquire a VST company which is world leading in their field of expertise and then continue to grow that company to new heights and many future successes. We have a very experienced and collaborative board and I am very confident we will be able to deliver great returns to our shareholders and partners.
